A brief introduction of our company :
Federated was established in 2002 and its HQ Office is in Singapore at the below-mentioned address. We have 22 professionals working in our small but compact Company.
Kindly note that Federated provides One Way Use services to mega /regional carriers, Vietnamese , Indonesian and Philippines domestic players; Leading leasing companies; top NVOCC companies and leading containers trading Companies to position their surplus containers to their demand locations worldwide – and our main focus is in Asia.
We have another Biz unit is Trading of Brand New/Used Containers is headed by me and assisted by Ms Pei Sze and Ms Idayu.
The 3rd Business unit is NVOCC and we have 12 pax working from North China to Upper Gulf and many ports in between – Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Yangon, Indian main ports , Cbo, Male, Khi, Dba etc. This local NVOCC Biz unit is headed by Ms Farah and assisted by 4 Trade Managers and Trade Executives namely Ms Jennifer , Kumaran, Ms Aqilah and Jia Yu (Mr.) plus local NVOCC team members.
Job description for Shipping Executive
- You will be directly involved in the process of consultation and marketing of Freight Forwarding /NVOCC/logistic services. Able to handle with carriers / feeder operation.
- Ability to self-manage and drive to results.
- To develop strong business building relationship with existing and new customer base.
- To be fully accountable for meeting individual key performance indicators and targets.
- Meeting sales forecast and target.
- Submit regular reports covering sales activities, performance and plans.
- Willing to travel oversea on short notice.
Requirements
- Must have minimum Diploma/ University Degree in any discipline.
- Ideal candidate should have the experiences selling air/ ocean/ import/ export/ FCL/LCL; full line of logistics services with good contacts in market.
- Experienced shipping executive of 2 -3 years with Freight Forwarding/NVOCC/regional, shipping or liner industry,
- Fresh graduated /Entry level applicants with experience but lacks qualification etc are welcome to apply.
- Able to work independently, with multitasking abilities and able to take work pressure
- Good team player.
- Positive work attitude and good communication skills and willing to travel inside Asian region.
- Sales focused with strong abilities to develop good customer relations and hit sales targets.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Salary will commensurate with experience.
