Job Description

We are looking for competent Project Coordinators to assist the project team in overseeing and organising events that will make an impact on a target audience. You'll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.

An event professional is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the project team in planning events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event's success
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, Performers, Part-timers etc.)
  • Coordinate all operations
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

Requirements:

  • Passionate about Event Management and MICE industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven experience or keen interest in event management
  • Skilled in project management
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Diploma or above in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Hospitality/ Tourism/ Hotel Management, Event Management or related field is preferred
  • Entry level position. Training and mentorship will be provided
  • Required language(s): English
  • Required Skill(s): MS Office, Event Management, Event Planning, Conference Management
