Purpose of the Job:
This position is responsible for:
- Managing and delivering HR Payroll processes and service. Also accountable for payroll outcome to ensure consistency and standardization of processes and activities to align with company’s policies and to comply with legislation
- Implementing HRIS and take ownership of employee master data
- Identifying improvement areas to HR operations and processes to enhance work effectiveness and using analytics to enable data-based decision making
- Reporting on activities and programs such as headcount, external statutory reporting and market surveys on a monthly or scheduled basis
Key Responsibilities:
HR Payroll & Operations
- Manage the Payroll function to ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll services
- Implement HRIS and take data ownership of employee master data
- Work with outsourced partners, i.e. payroll, benefits for smooth delivery of payroll administration as well as management and renewal of employee benefits program
- Manage annual staff cost budget and forecast reporting
- Perform HR reporting on headcount, pension, diversity, and participate in external surveys e.g. MOM, salary surveys etc.
- Attend to auditor on both internal and external payroll audits
- Collate employee compensation, benefits in-kind & equity data to Payroll partner for annual tax reporting and tax clearance for foreign employees
- Handle outbound assignee Hypo tax computation
- Manage bi-annual employee share purchase (ESPP)
- Maintain ESPP database, new hire enrolment, termination and staff movement
- Maintain Shareholding membership database, i.e. enrolment/cancellation & email listing
- Administrator for Shareholding portal
- Tracking of resigned employees for recovery of shares advance payment. Process sales proceed and return money via payroll
Data Analytics
- Review HR operation processes and procedures to ensure consistency and standardisation of processes and activities that align with the Company’s policies and comply with legislation
- Propose enhancements to HR operations to improve work efficiencies and effectiveness
- Work with HRBPs and COEs to understand the operational needs to develop HR metrics to enable data-based decision making, translate data into action items and suggestions
Profile Required:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or other Business related subjects
2 to 3 years of total work experience in data analytics or related experience in payroll administration
Experience in implementing in-house payroll system preferred
Good knowledge of local employment law and payroll best practices
Meticulous, systematic, organized and committed to quality and continuous improvement
Positive and confident with ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Experience in shared service environment, data analytics and translating data into action items and suggestions
- Working experience in Singapore, with regional experience preferred
- Preferably experienced in Industrial or Services sectors, Distribution, Manufacturing, Wholesale &/or Retail industries
- Cross cultural experience would be advantageous
- Proficient in English
