About the Role

We are looking for experienced Freelance Consecutive Interpreters (CI) and Simultaneous Interpreters (SI) in Singapore to support our legal and arbitration-related projects.

The selected interpreters may be engaged for court proceedings, arbitration hearings, legal meetings, witness examinations, and other legal-related assignments.

Requirements

Consecutive Interpreter (CI)

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional consecutive interpretation experience
• Proven experience in legal and/or arbitration settings
• Strong command of both English and the relevant target language
• Able to interpret accurately and professionally in formal legal environments
• Must be based in Singapore or able to work on-site in Singapore
• Available to complete affidavit signing in Singapore when required

Simultaneous Interpreter (SI)

• Minimum 3–4 years of professional simultaneous interpretation experience
• Proven experience in legal and/or arbitration settings
• Strong command of both English and the relevant target language
• Experience handling formal and high-stakes legal proceedings is highly preferred
• Must be based in Singapore or able to work on-site in Singapore
• Available to complete affidavit signing in Singapore when required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation
• Interpret legal terminology and proceedings accurately and impartially
• Support communication between legal professionals, clients, witnesses, and other parties
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all case-related information
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant materials and terminology
• Complete affidavit signing and other required documentation in Singapore when applicable
