Responsibilities

• Plan, storyboard, and conceptualise creative/ storytelling ideas for video content
• Film & edit engaging content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and YouTube
• Execute & schedule post image-based and editorial content across channels
• Conduct interviews and record audio for video projects when necessary
• Use AI tools to support content creation, copywriting, proofreading and campaign ideas
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and competitors’ best practices, and share that knowledge with the team
• Manage social media content calendar and posting schedule
• Track content performance and suggest improvements
• Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as required

Job requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications, or equivalent work experience in video or film production
• Avid user of at least 2 prominent social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok)
• Good understanding of social media best practices and content creation
• Proficient in Creative applications (Canva, Capcut) etc.
• Knowledge of Canva is a plus
• Can work both independently and in teams
• Proactive, with a positive and can-do attitude
