As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Finance Executive Intern to support the daily financial operations of the Company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will learn & develop knowledge on financial controls and supporting business growth within a regulated general insurance environment.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the AR function, including matching of receipts and commission statements in the system.
- Assist with month-end closing, including debtors aging reconciliation, statement of accounts preparation and bank reconciliation.
- Preparing investment journals and reconciliation.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of core system reports to general ledger.
- Assist with preparation of regulatory returns and financial statements.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
- Meticulous, possesses strong analytical skills and has an eye for details
- Tech Savvy, knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
- Able to work both independently and in a team
- Candidates with system implementation experience are preferred
- No work rights restriction in Singapore
- Able to commit to 5 -days work week an at least 4 months of internship
