DO.CAFE was newly established in 2022. We are a conceptual salad café that aims to serve the customers with healthy and fulfilling meals, every moment of the day. Run by passionate staffs, who believe delicious food could bring joy to people, at any point of time. We strive to serve nutritious salads, our main character, that would give people good energy source. The ingredients used and the combination are carefully selected to achieve a good balance between deliciousness and calories. Apart from the salads, we also provide various pastries, wraps and muffins, that should go hand in hand with a cup of hot beverages or our signature smoothies. At DO.CAFE, a salad cafeteria, we take great pride in providing our customers with a warm and welcoming environment, and lovely made coffee and food to match. We are looking for a cafeteria worker to join our team and help us create an exceptional experience for each customer. We are seeking someone with friendly and outgoing personality, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. If you have experience in the food and beverage industry, that is a plus, but not required.
Working Location: Sunshine Plaza & City Square Mall.
Job Duties & Responsibilities.
- Greet customers as they enter the cafeteria.
- Provide customers with information of food and beverage items.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations as needed.
- Take orders from customers for food and drink items promptly.
- Enter orders into computerized ordering systems to ensure that orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate cash registers and handle various types of cashless transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare food items such as meat, salads, baked goods, sandwiches and beverages.
- Prepare coffee beans and make coffee using a coffee machine.
- Make both cold and hot drinks.
- Serve food or drinks to customers at their tables or preparing them for takeout, in a timely and professional manner.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, clean and reset them for the next customers.
- Clean counters, tables, and all equipment to Keep the premise neat, clean, and orderly, including cleaning counters, tables, equipment, sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash and stocking supplies.
- Keep inventory of food items and supplies to ensure that supplies do not run out.
- Ensure all the food in the cafeteria is in fresh condition and kept at a safe temperature.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up for the day and cleaning up at night.
- Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and drinks.
