Responsibilities:
Data Analyst (Intern) will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports and troubleshooting data issues. Candidate should have a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with key stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Work with Commercial Planning & Research and IT team to develop and analyze business intelligence needs.
Projects include:
- Creating an online Sales Code change approval process using Power Automate
- Improving the On Demand Delivery data dashboard on PowerBI
- Convert Retail Leads conversion report to the dashboard
- Analyze DHL’s key markets, and trade lanes, as well as the targeted industries based on the demand from sales channels
- Support the impact analysis on the customs regulatory changes
- Maintain and prepare the datasets for reporting on a weekly or monthly basis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Student in Business / Computer Science / Engineering / Data Analytics / Finance / Mathematics / Statistics or a similar field
- Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in reporting and analytics
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, and Python, as well as experience with machine learning is a plus
- Experience in data models and reporting packages
- Effective communicator with a creative mindset
