- Job Description
- We are searching for a self-driven DevOps Engineer to join Dedoco, an enterprise solutions startup with a focus on decentralized blockchain-based tools that will revolutionize business processes. Dedoco is a Digital Signing & Document workflow platform that allows end-to-end digital signing, encryption and sharing of documents. Our solution is built with the aim of improving efficiency and compliance, while ensuring document security and data privacy. We aim to help enterprises digitize documents and signing with an easy-to-use API & SaaS that can be adopted across all industries.The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test solutions for complex business applications
- Deploy solutions into production and lower environments
- Operate and support solutions in production
- Apply automation to reduce manual effort and improve productivity
- Define and monitor system metrics and do the necessary to achieve desired outcomes
- Document system design and interface specifications for clearer communications within the team and with external parties
- Improve software quality and engineering processes using engineering practices such as code review, code linters and automated testing
- Guide and grow junior engineers on the team
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
Requirements:- 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience
- Proven experience working on AWS
- Proven experience with containerization using Docker
- Experience in server administration and scripting
- Experience with IAC using Terraform
- Familiar with web security concepts and standards such as OWASP Top 10
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices
- Strong sense of responsibility and problem ownership
- Insatiable curiosity and learns fast
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well within a software development team
Preferred:- Experience with the Hashicorp stack
- Knowledge in System architecture
- Interest and understanding of blockchain and distributed systems
- Experience in working with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience with Agile software development
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields
- 4-6 years experience working in a related field and at least 2 years in a similar role
