Role Overview
As a Startup Accelerator & Innovation Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting DayDayUp’s accelerator and innovation programmess. This includes scouting and recruiting promising startups, assisting in programme operations, and contributing to business development efforts with corporate partners and ecosystem stakeholders. You will also support marketing and communications to expand DayDayUp’s brand presence across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Operations & Partnership Support
- Assist in scouting and recruiting innovative startups for GIA accelerator batches and other innovation programmes
- Support programme planning, scheduling, and logistics for both online and offline activities
- Coordinate with Singapore and Chinese startups, mentors, investors, and corporates throughout the program lifecycle.
- Support Chinese tech companies’ business development and landing activities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Maintain close relations with ecosystem partners such as universities, accelerators, VCs, corporates, and government agencies.
2. Business Development (BD)
- Support engagement with large corporates, investors, and innovation partners from both Singapore and China.
- Conduct market research and identify collaboration opportunities for DayDayUp’s portfolio startups.
- Assist in preparing partner proposals, pitch decks, and event briefings.
3. Marketing & Communications
- Support the marketing and promotion of DayDayUp’s programs and services to the Singaporean and Southeast Asian markets.
- Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and assist in content creation.
- Contribute to event publicity, EDM campaigns, and CRM database updates.
- Assist with the creation of bilingual (English & Chinese) communication materials.
Requirements
- Open to both students and fresh graduates.
- Passionate about innovation, startups, and international business ecosystems.
- Strong research and analytical skills; able to work independently.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin (due to frequent cross-border collaboration).
- Prior experience in event coordination, startup ecosystems, or marketing is a plus.
