At our location in Singapore - Daimler Commercial Vehicles South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (DCVSEA) is the Regional Center for Daimler commercial vehicle business in South East Asia and Southern Asia. Our team of over 70 colleagues is responsible for developing the truck & bus business for the brands Mercedes-Benz, FUSO and BharatBenz in more than 20 markets across South East Asia and beyond. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Network Development team.
Challenges that await you are:
- Plan, implement, and monitor network strategies to achieve targeted wholesale distribution/retail outlet presence in Southeast Asia markets
- Support the region by providing guidelines in frequently asked questions (Daimler Truck network standards & processes, branding, competitor network analysis, dealer standards audit support, due diligence, and contract amendments)
- Liaise with various teams in terms of Sales, Aftersales, and Compliance for network/distribution/dealer-related topics
- Support the team and HOD to prepare network analysis and research for general distribution markets
- Support the team in system rollout, implementation, and analysis
- Assist in following up on network-related topics with general distributors in the market
- Assist in developing management presentations for network updates and required approval
- Assist with any other reasonable tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing / Business &/or Data Analytics (or related degrees)
- Good planning and organization skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills (multi-language skills would be an added advantage)
- Good level of self-confidence and ability to work independently in liaising with distributors in the region
- Good knowledge of South East Asia's automotive business and network presence of various automotive brands (especially trucks & buses) would be beneficial
- Analytical, self-driven, friendly and resourceful
- Keen learner and willing to gain regional work exposure
We are looking for students who can commit to:
- At least 3 – 6 months internship duration
- Full-time &/or Part-time internship
- Immediate Start Date / Starting from January 2024
