Covenant Capital Pte Ltd – Operations Analyst Intern

Covenant Capital is looking for an intern to assist with the day-to-day operations. In this role, the candidate will gain the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of trades, have exposure to different kinds of financial instruments and how they are booked back end. On a daily basis, the candidate would be required to assist with trade data and reconciliations.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

• Trade processing, confirmation and settlement. Assist in the daily operations function, ensuring accurate portfolio reporting and systems processing. 

• Facilitate proper bookkeeping, records, and profit/loss analysis for bankers 

• Maintain reports and databases that support trading and compliance 

• Assist in the preparation of statements 

• Ad hoc activities

SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

• Being able to deliver results at the highest standard under deadlines 

• Excellent communication and listening skills 

• The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and organized 

• Detail oriented and comfortable dealing with confidential and sensitive information 

• Must be a team player with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently 

• Have a can-do attitude 

• Knowledge about financial instruments would be a plus

• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
