Job Description

Job Title: Sales and Operations Manager


Job Type: 3-6 month paid internship, $700- S$1,500 per month depending on experience 

Start Date: February 2019 

Reports To: Luca Bregoli, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer

Role Purpose: To increase Cove’s supply of property and ensure supply side efficiency. 

Goals/Deliverables:

  • Increased supply of available properties (ideally sourced directly from landlords)
  • Reduced time to on-board properties 
  • Reduced time to deal with tenant requests
  • Improved tenant satisfaction

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the CEO with landlord lead generation
  • Developing sales materials for landlords (with support from marketing on design)
  • Updating property listings on the Cove website 
  • Working closely with operations manager to onboard properties 
  • Establishing and improving property on-boarding SOPs (standard operating practices)
  • Coordinating maintenance and housekeeping teams 
  • Maintaining accurate records/ticketing history on property issues 
  • Improving efficiencies across the end-to-end process 
  • Manage stock levels of small furnishings and household items 
  • Managing the photography of properties 

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Essential 

  • Undergraduate degree in any field (business related is a bonus)
  • Strong academic track record 
  • Experience in a sales/ customer facing role 

Preferred 

  • Experience in operations/project management
