KrASIA – Community Lead

KrASIA is a fast paced technology and business newsroom in Southeast Asia, India and China. Based in Singapore, we hope to bridge the information gap between markets in Asia, facilitating opportunities in the startup and innovation ecosystem! 

We are looking for someone who loves working with startups, VCs, and the innovation ecosystem at large. This role will build a community that spans Asia, providing value-added support to members of our network. As a newly created function, the Lead will ideate, execute, and improve initiatives to support the startups and partners in our community.

What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills, fluent in English. Multilingualism is a bonus.
• Outgoing personality and loves interacting with people
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and deadlines
• A competent problem solver
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with the team
• Experience with planning and executing community initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Understand what our community needs and how we can best support
• Organize events to support the community and its growth
• Define and track community growth metrics
• Support the other teams with projects
