Supervision: The intern will work closely with the founders of the startup,
assisting them in projects that will have direct impact in the company. He/she
will be part of a flat organisation, where he/she will have hands on every
aspect of the business. Although he/she will get huge responsibilities for an
intern, the team will nurture and mentor them. By the time the internship
ends, he/she will be able to get a good overview of how an early stage startup
operates.
Responsibilities:
• Full stack developer to maintain and develop our online platform
• Work closely with our product development team to improve our
platforms and contribute feature ideas and designs (visual &
conceptual) for our website, mobile web, tablet web, and applications
• Participate in user testing for production
• Familiar with code deployment practices, web development support
tools like Git, Github, etc.
Requirements:
Coinhako is currently looking for software engineers with skills in the following
area:
• Ruby on Rails
• HTML/CSS/JS (Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery, CoffeeScript, HTML5 APIs)
• Databases (PostgreSQL, ORMs)
• SAAS toolchain (Github, BitBucket, AWS, EngineYard)
• Linux system administration
Bonus:
• Familiar with and passionate about Bitcoin, its network and protocol
• Able to code in multiple languages - Java, Scala and Golang
• Prior startup experience
