POSITION SUMMARY:
CLSA Singapore is on the lookout for young talent that has a passion for the finance industry and is interested in pursuing a career in the industry. As such, we are looking for exceptionally talented individuals with a desire to work in finance that want to learn how to be future financial research analysts.
Specifically, we are looking for a Research Intern, to assist the research team in conducting both macroeconomic and bottom-up analysis of company’s financial performance and learn the fundamentals of what it takes to become an equity research analyst.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRA’S):
• Assist Senior Analysts on specific research projects
• Collect data and compile answers for clients requests
• Maintain databases of economic and industry specific data
• Accompany clients on visits; produce notes on all visits
• Assist Research Analysts in compiling and presenting information
• Update financial models for the research team
• Assist sector analysts with information requests
KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications for both data collection and interpretation of the results that can presented clearly and concisely
• 0 – 2 years of experience
