Headquartered in Singapore, Clifford Capital was established in 2012 with the support of the Government of Singapore as a provider of debt financing solutions to companies and projects with a nexus to Singapore in the infrastructure and maritime sectors.
Today, Clifford Capital is an infrastructure credit financing platform for real assets globally across the debt capital structure. The Group is increasingly pivoting towards areas such as clean energy, energy transition, social and digital infrastructure, electrification, and maritime decarbonisation to address the challenges posed by environmental, social and governance issues globally, and in particular within the Asia Pacific region. Project Intern, Markets & Investor Services (MIS) Group (July to December 2026)
Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual to experience a hands-on and immersive working in the world of global infrastructure financing. As our intern, you will support across the following 3 areas where you will work alongside experienced industry professionals.
Capital Markets
The Capital Markets team is responsible for (i) the structuring and execution of new structured issuances, (ii) the ongoing monitoring and management of existing issuances and (iii) managing and cultivating relationships with institutional investors.
Institutional Coverage
The Institutional Coverage team is responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions, sourcing of loan assets from these financial institutions, and facilitating the syndication of loans originated by Clifford Capital.
Collateral Management
The Collateral Management team is responsible for the ongoing servicing of all loans and bonds assets under management by the Clifford Capital group, including those residing on the Group’s securitisation vehicles. These assets include predominantly project / asset-backed, corporate and mezzanine financings within the infrastructure and maritime sectors.
You will have opportunities to work on projects supporting across the MIS group, where you will:
- gain insights into relationship management with our institutional clients
- learn how Infrastructure Asset-Backed Securities (“IABS”) and other capital market products are structured, distributed and managed,
- learn how our infrastructure loans and bond assets are managed
- hone your interpersonal skills.
Knowledge/Experience Requirements
- Available for full-time internship between July to December 2026
- Strong in corporate finance and financial modelling, with high numerical proficiency
- Highly organised, motivated and strong prioritisation capabilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in excel and powerpoint
