Job Description

Position Overview: 

Reporting to Head of Finance/Financial Controllers, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the functional job responsibilities below: -

  1. Assist with monthly financial closing, including the preparation or review of monthly financial close packs with supporting schedules
  2. Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly management and investors/shareholders reports
  3. Assist with the preparation of presentation materials for Board or Management meetings
  4. Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaison with external auditors for the audit of the financial statements
  5. Assist with GST and other tax submissions, financial sector development tax incentives and enhanced tax exemptions application and compliance
  6. Liaison with legal and compliance department for corporate secretarial matters
  7. Participate in system UAT and implementation of Finance projects
  8. Collaborate and support cross-functional teams reporting requirement
  9. Participate in any ad hoc initiatives as required

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification or currently undergoing undergraduate studies
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, & Singapore corporate tax, withholding tax & GST legislations
  • Supporting team player & able to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Keen desire to learn & attention to details
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills 
  • Change & continuous improvement mindset
  • MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Basic financial modelling
