Position Overview:
Reporting to Head of Finance/Financial Controllers, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the functional job responsibilities below: -
- Assist with monthly financial closing, including the preparation or review of monthly financial close packs with supporting schedules
- Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly management and investors/shareholders reports
- Assist with the preparation of presentation materials for Board or Management meetings
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaison with external auditors for the audit of the financial statements
- Assist with GST and other tax submissions, financial sector development tax incentives and enhanced tax exemptions application and compliance
- Liaison with legal and compliance department for corporate secretarial matters
- Participate in system UAT and implementation of Finance projects
- Collaborate and support cross-functional teams reporting requirement
- Participate in any ad hoc initiatives as required
Knowledge/ Experience Required:
- Undergraduate degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification or currently undergoing undergraduate studies
- Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, & Singapore corporate tax, withholding tax & GST legislations
- Supporting team player & able to collaborate effectively across functions
- Keen desire to learn & attention to details
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Change & continuous improvement mindset
- MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Basic financial modelling
