Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist our conference production team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is proactive, highly organised, and eager to learn about event management in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support end to end conference production, including research, copywriting, identifying and acquiring high profile international speakers
  • Aid in speaker communication, follow-up correspondence and general speakers liaising activities
  • A team player who is able to work in a cross functional team to collaborate with colleagues of different functions, including sales, marketing and operation to ensure a smooth planning
  • Opportunity to travel overseas to support conference onsite during event days

Qualifications:

  • Current enrolment in a related degree or diploma programme (Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, etc.), preferably a final year student who is open to explore a full time opportunity after internship.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, humble and willing to take on new challenges, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed during event periods.
