Job Description
- Responsible for coding of models for the dry bulk shipping team
- Data cleaning and processing
- Set up and methodologies for maintenance of database
- Building of models which involve freight price forecasting from historical prices using technical analysis
- Freight price forecasting from different indicators using regressions or other econometrics or machine learning methods
Requirements
- Advanced skills in Excel and database
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages such as VBA, Python, R, Matlab, etc
- Knowledge of statistics, modelling
- Knowledge of econometrics and machine learning
