Job Description

The External Relations Intern will be responsible for conducting research and engaging potential donors/sponsors/ partners in Singapore for grants, sponsorship, or CSR support. Main target of sponsors will be the private companies with business interests in Indonesia (especially eastern Indonesia) and grant-giving entities.
This position will be located in Singapore. The work can be done remotely with minimum once a week meeting with a supervisor in Singapore for updates and reporting. This position is not a pure research position. The candidate is to follow up with potential leads and meet a mutually agreed performance targets.
Subject to performance and organizational needs, there may be traveling opportunities to Indonesia to understand Chapter W’s field work.


Position Qualifications

  • A 3rd or 4th year university student (undergraduate) or postgraduate student in Singapore
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to engage and build relationship with potential donors (via emails, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings)
  • Experience in external liaison/relation will be highly valued
