Job Description

As a Commercial Intern at Buildas, you will play a pivotal role in business development, taking charge of lead generation and contributing to the closure of sales deals. Beyond this core function, the role offers a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Tech. You will gain firsthand experience in shaping the business by participating in strategic initiatives. This dynamic internship provides exposure to various facets of our startup ecosystem, allowing you to hone your skills in business development while exploring additional areas based on your interests and strengths.

 

Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Generate leads through research, outreach, and networking.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to potential customers via cold calling, emails, and other channels 
  • Create and maintain a robust database of prospects, tracking communication and engagement history.
  • Deliver impactful client presentations, showcasing Buildas capabilities and custom solutions to address specific business challenges.
  • Tailor presentations based on client feedback and evolving business requirements
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and challenges.

 

Sales Operations

  • Develop compelling sales decks and presentations tailored to different industry verticals and client needs.
  • Create and manage a dynamic sales pipeline, tracking prospects through various stages of the sales funnel.
  • Regularly update CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Implement effective follow-up strategies to nurture leads and maintain consistent communication with potential clients.

 

Business Strategy 

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of business strategies
  • Participate in discussions and contribute ideas during team meetings
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Use market insights to tailor sales strategies and position Buildas as a leader in the software development landscape.
  • Generate and present regular sales reports, including key performance indicators and sales metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimize performance.
