Structured Personal Development Program For Academic Interns for triple sciences (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) and Maths (A/E Maths) and Lower Sec Science
Technical Teaching Skills
- Be able to identify and deliver the key learning outcomes for every topic quickly and effectively to minimise unnecessary amount of time spent on lesson preparation
- Learn about the common misconceptions that students have that cause them to not score in school examinations/national examinations for every topic
- Learn about the use of key scaffolding questions needed for every topic to engage and sustain students’ interest in learning
- Learn about the use of different questioning techniques for students from different learning backgrounds
- Learn about key answering techniques that students need to do well for each topic.
- Learn about key examination questions and application questions for every topic that teachers need to prepare students for.
- Key videos to use for each topic to help students visualise their learning and be able to break down concepts easily for students
Designing Technical Skills
- Have first hand access to our coloured textbooks and exclusive resources to accelerate your teaching skills.
- Be involved in the thinking process, design of our coloured textbooks and understand how does the use of the different learning acceleration skills, our CKTL teaching framework accelerates learning, and helps teachers be unique in the industry.
- Understand how does the different design branding guidelines help in the teaching and learning of students
- Understanding how does structuring the learning and teaching resources through standardised design help in the learning and teaching of students.
Triple Sciences (Chemistry/Physics/Biology) Practical Skills
- How to teach both theory and practical lessons to students
- How to conduct practical lessons and key practical learning points to highlight to students
- NEA Approved lab in Bright Culture that exposes interns to the practical teaching experience of science
Relationship Management Skills
- How to engage and increase the learning interest of students in a group setting
- How to teach Lower Sec Science, Upper Sec Chemistry, Physics and Biology +A/E maths easily to students so that your students can score
- How to build rapport with students and improve your lesson delivery both in an individual and group tuition setting.
- How to handle students with diverse ability in learning and be able to cater lessons for students of different abilities.
Classroom Management Skills
- How to differentiate and prepare your lessons for individual and group tuition setting.
- How to differentiate and prepare your lessons for students with different learning backgrounds e.g Olevels/IP students
Centre Operation Management Skills
- Learn how a tuition centre operates by being involved in daily operations (following up with leads & assisting in enrolling procedure)
- Maintaining relationship with parents & students by assisting with their enquiries
Career Mentorship
Mentorship in various fields as the founders have years of experience in these areas: MOE, private education, entrepreneurship, marketing, banking and F&B. If you have any questions regarding these careers, we can address them during the internship too.

We are looking for committed and passionate interns to join our Academic team. Ideally, you are considering a career in education and teaching as we use the AIP to identify potential full time hires. This would be the perfect opportunity for you to experience the private education sector as you will be given real responsibilities that impact future generations of students.
Roles & Responsibilities
Incorporating relevant thinking and reflective skills into the curriculum
- Assessment, recording and reporting on the work of students and attending Parents’ Meetings to meet parents and discuss the progress of individual students
- Teaching assigned classes including the supervision of classes for absence cover
- Working with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum
- Preparation of students for and participation in the conduct of internal and external examinations
- Job Requirements:Background in O & A Level Science & Chemistry is preferred but not a must
