Job Description

Branding & Communications Intern

As a Branding & Communications Intern at BRC Global Rolls, you will play a vital role in supporting our efforts to enhance and strengthen our corporate identity and communication strategies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and innovative company that pioneers the future of precision engineering in the steel industry.

 

Role Overview

As an intern in the Branding & Communications department, you will work closely with our Branding & Communications Director to contribute to various branding and communication initiatives. You will collaborate on projects that involve crafting compelling messaging, executing campaigns/projects, and ensuring consistency in visual and written communication across all channels. Your creative mindset, attention to detail, and passion for effective communication will be instrumental in driving the success of our branding efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Brand Support: Assist in maintaining brand consistency and guidelines across all marketing materials and communication platforms, ensuring alignment with the company's values.

  2. Content Creation: Participate in content development, including writing and editing copy for various marketing materials, such as website content, brochures, etc.

  1. Market Research: Research to gather insights on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis, helping to inform our branding and communication strategies.

  2. Campaign Execution: Support the execution of campaigns/projects and events to increase brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and promote our products and services.

  3. Visual Communication: Support the creation of visually appealing assets that effectively convey our brand message and resonate with our audience.

  4. Internal Communication: Assist in developing internal communication materials to engage employees and foster a strong sense of brand identity and company culture.

  5. Part of the internship programme will include a presentation on BRC which could range from doing research on the business, products, marketing, etc and present it to the management team. Interns are allowed to select the BRC topic of interest. This research and presentation carry 25% of the internship’s overall programme in BRC.




Requirements

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  3. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  4. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and the ability to create visually engaging assets is a plus.

  5. Enthusiasm for branding, communications, and precision engineering.

  6. Interns are required to commit to the full internship schedule.

This internship opportunity is available for the specified duration and offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic industry. Internship Period: 8 January 2024 – 28 June 2024

Monthly Allowance: S$1,200
Working hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm (Mon-Fri)
