Our subsidiary, Brand Finance Consultancy (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a small team focused on delivery high quality client work in valuation advisory, strategic marketing and value based marketing like brand investment scorecards.  

Due to growth in the region, our boutique consultancy is looking for a Market Research Assistant who aspires to grow and work with a unique combination of talents. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who will be interested to help spearhead brand and strategic consulting projects as project assistant, conduct and monitor research, engage in project management and assisting to prepare project and research findings to clients. Our Singapore office oversees the operations in the Asia Pacific region, so the role also offers travel opportunities.

Job Description

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist to oversee, collect, clean, sort and analyze market research data;
  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace, understanding client’s business and positioning and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations;
  • Understand business objectives and design surveys (qualitative and quantitative) to discover prospective customers’ preferences;
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it;
  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis;
  • Clean raw data and interpret data (e.g. segmentation analysis, competitive benchmarking analysis, etc) to formulate reports and make recommendations;
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation;
  • Remain fully informed on market trends.

  • Basic knowledge on Market Research;
  • Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure;
  • Ability to think strategically along with interpreting large amount of data and good analytical skills;

  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time;
  • Strong business acumen with passion to improve business processes and results;
  • Willingness to learn brand and marketing concepts;
  • Good writing and presentation skills;
  • A strong eye for detail;
  • Highly motivated and a can-do, positive attitude.
