Job Description

The focus is to support the purchasing process for marketing services and logistic services, in the 10 countries across Asia Pacific, as well as support the local team of Indirect Purchasing located in Singapore.

  • Conducting market research
  • Developing request for information (RFI) and evaluation of requests for quotation (RFQ) offers
  • Initial contact (supplier sourcing) and follow through correspondences with suppliers
  • Liaise with Category Expert in the region
  • Active use of Robert Bosch’s online tender tool to support Q&A platform
  • Drafting presentations for internal stakeholder meetings
  • Support to the Category Manager and Category Expert
  • Go-to person for department administrative topics
  • First level support for Bosch purchasing platform
Qualifications
  • Able to work full time for a period of 6 months
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English and work in a multinational environment
  • Proactive disposition
  • Ability to understand purchasing activities
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently on projects
  • Structured method of working
  • Goal-oriented

 

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies

  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:

  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.

  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
