Who are We Looking For
The Marketplace Alliance Intern will be responsible for curating the Zest marketplaces to ensure that we will give our users access to the best experiences and most memorable destinations in town. You will be placed at the forefront of our go-to-market efforts and be tasked with identifying new and trending food places and developing a new eco-system of merchant partners who will be onboarded with us in our Zest journey.
As part of the Marketplace Alliance team, you will liaise with both the most popular and most underrated food places in Singapore to see how we can bring the best food options to our Zest users. You will also cultivate both new and existing relationships with our merchant partners to help them increase their sales and explore ways for them to develop a deeper bond with their customers via the Zest platform.

What will You Do
• Work with the Zest Marketplace team to identify, recruit and onboard merchant partners and align our masterplan to the market trends and on-the-ground sentiments
• Develop tracking reports to spot all new trending restaurants from public sources e.g. blogs, Facebook, IG, restaurant discovery websites, etc.
• Build and update target lists for sales team, and identify priority restaurants/food chains in line with the marketplace strategy
• Negotiate contracts and terms of partnership with potential merchant partners
• Work closely with the Marketplace Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of accounts signed
• Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings and pitch to prospects in Singapore
