Books Beyond Borders – Operations Internship

Books Beyond Borders is a social enterprise bookstore that raises money for education. We collect and sell gently-used books, and direct our profits to fund classroom projects in Nepal. 

Greetings! We are looking for a superhero to help us build this young startup together. If you are into entrepreneurship (social enterprises in particular) enjoy being in a fast-paced environment, and LOVE being around books like we do, we want you on our team.

Here's how you'll help:

• Coordinate with donors via live chat (book donations process)
• Sort hundreds of books every week (into the right categories and onto our shelves)
• Manage our online bookstore (prepare and fulfill orders)
• Manage our weekend bookstore (one of the coziest ones in Singapore!)

At the basic level, you'll need to:

• Be comfortable using excel/spreadsheets
• Be able to commit 1 weekend ( Saturday or Sunday ) at our bookstore

Our non-negotiables:

• You are energetic and confident (we really dislike Debbie-downers!)
• You are an avid reader
