- Assist the development team with development build scripts and tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Support deployment and maintenance of development, staging, and production environments
- Help with the design of a long-term deployment and testing strategy
- Acting as the point of contact for deployment troubleshooting and maintenance on AWS
- Work closely with the software development team to educate and improve the deployment and testing process
- Aiding the development team with internal monitoring tools for test coverage and test performance
Requirements:
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled as a student, in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Information Technology degree
- Demonstrated experience in Python and Javascript
- Knowledge of AWS tools and technologies
- Experience working with EB, EC2, RDS, S3
- Working knowledge on Application and Classic Load Balancers, Target Groups, Security Groups, IAM Permissions, Certificates, Route 53
- Experience with deployment strategies to each of the technologies listed above
- Experience with Travis CI, specifically for python and javascript testing and deployment via EB and S3
- Basic knowledge of other CI/CD methods and tools to help inform long-term development ops strategy
- Experience in data management, IT systems and operations
- Experience in virtualization technologies
- Process improvement and organization skills
- Ability to develop strong relationship with colleagues, internal / external clients and vendors
- Good communication, analytical and conceptual skills
