Job Description

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You should have at least 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in a startup environment. You are highly capable of managing a broad range of HR and admin matters.

You are looking for a change in job environment, and keen to work in a fast-paced and dynamic one. You are able to hit the ground running, and have the flexibility and willingness to take on job roles outside of the designated job-scope.


What Will Be Expected from You?

This is a newly created role due to company growth. You will handle the full scope of HR and administrative matters of the company.

Some key responsibilities, although not exhaustive, include :

  • Talent Acquistion

- Manage recruitment process and conduct background check, ensuring candidate fit to the role and company culture. - Manage onboarding of new employees and prepare necessary HR documents e.g. employment contracts and onboarding guide

  • Talent Management

- Introduction of career structure for employees

- Process probations, performance reviews, salary appraisals and  terminations

  • General HR

- Design and implement effective HR policies, review and update of employee handbook, and existing HR policies- Administer a wide range of HR matters such as all claims and submissions, application and renewal of EPOL, EP, SP pass, liaison with insurance agent regarding medical benefits

- Advise staff on their benefits and explain employment standards and legislation where needed

- Organise team building events and/or DnD events as necessary

- Maintenance of employee benefits on portals e.g. leave

- Ensure company is in compliance with MOM law

  • Administrative Work

- Play role of Personal Assistant to CEO as required e.g. helping with arranging meetings, arranging travel itineraries etc.

- Liaise with Finance Team regarding staff claims and benefits

- Liaise with lawyers for notarization of documents or other legal requirements

- Ensure upkeep of office e.g. printing of namecards, ordering of stationery and groceries for the pantry


What is Desired

  • Singaporean/Singapore Perm. Resident
  • Proven experience of minimum 1 year in similar capacity
  • Experience in startup environments / SMEs preferred but not required
