Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
- Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.
- Able to perform physical work/carry heavy objects.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
- Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain 5S and clean work environment for inventory storage space.
- Ability to work extended hours.
Experience / Training:
2+ years’ experience in inventory control or related experiences in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logistics.
