Barker & Pooch – Dog Post Exercise Care Handler

Barker & Pooch is a social enterprise founded in 2019 with a mission to give dogs in Singapore a longer active life. We work closely with our clients to create canine fitness programs specifically for their fitness goals and health conditions.

We are looking for good energy - humble but aspiring, calm but assertive - someone who can tell us why they should be part of the team. Post-exercise Care - The Whisperers

• Quick showering and blow-drying the dogs thoroughly
• Handle and walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Post-exercise massages and basic stretches
• Maintain cleanliness of the post-exercise care areas

Requirements

• Calm and assertive
• Physically fit
• Proactive problem-solver
• Attention to detail
• Proactive in work and learning
• Situation and surrounding awareness
• Some experience working with dogs
• Team player
• Keen interest in canine anatomy and sports science
• Love dogs
• Part-timer minimum commitment period of 6 months
• Full-timer minimum commitment period of 1 year
