About Baggies

Baggies is a growing butcher and deli in Singapore, specialising in locally made biltong, droëwors and high-protein snacks. We sell through our Joo Chiat store and online, and we’re looking to expand our digital sales channels.

We’re seeking a commercially minded intern to help grow online sales, improve our existing platforms and explore new marketplaces. You’ll work closely with the owner and our marketing agency, which handles content creation.

What you’ll do

• Grow TikTok Shop: Improve product listings, explore promotions, bundles and affiliate partnerships, and help turn platform activity into sales.
• Optimise Shopify: Review the customer journey and identify improvements to product pages, navigation, bundles, upselling and checkout conversion.
• Develop Instagram and Facebook sales opportunities: Review product tagging, catalogue setup and available shopping features to make it easier for customers to discover and purchase our products.
• Explore new marketplaces: Assess opportunities on Shopee, Lazada and other relevant platforms, including fees, fulfilment requirements, product suitability and potential profitability.
• Support channel launches: Help set up approved accounts, product listings, pricing, promotions and order processes.
• Improve customer retention: Explore email campaigns, abandoned checkout recovery, subscriptions and repeat-purchase offers.
• Research growth opportunities: Review competitors, customer buying behaviour and potential online partnerships.
• Track performance: Monitor traffic, conversion rates, average order value, sales and channel costs, and recommend practical improvements.
• Coordinate with our marketing agency: Share channel insights and request the assets needed to support promotions and sales initiatives.

Who we’re looking for

• A student pursuing business, e-commerce, marketing, analytics or a related course.
• Interested in online retail, digital platforms and growing sales.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and interpreting basic performance data.
• Organised, curious and willing to research unfamiliar platforms.
• Able to turn ideas into clear recommendations and follow through on agreed tasks.
• Familiarity with Shopify, TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada or Meta Business Suite is an advantage, but not essential.

Previous work experience isn’t required. We welcome examples of school projects, online stores or marketplace accounts you’ve helped manage.

• Better product listings and an easier online shopping experience.
• Practical improvements tested on our existing channels.
• Clear recommendations on which new marketplaces to enter and why.
• Simple reporting showing what is driving sales and where we can improve.
