Aviareps Pte Ltd – Marketing & Communications Executive

Reporting to the General Manager and Team Leader, the Executive is responsible for managing key public relations and marketing activities in Singapore with the ultimate goal of increasing coverage and awareness of clients, and sales from existing partnerships. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Public Relations & Communications

• Annual Planning: Assist to develop an annual Editorial Plan, Content Marketing Strategy & Communications Annual Plan with client.
• Media Landscape: Produce and update Media Landscape of Singapore and potentially other Southeast Asia markets.
• Alignment of objectives and messages: Ensure key objectives are translated to messages suited for different target segments, and that these messages are consistently placed in all media engagement platforms.
• Event Management: Organise PR and travel trade events, including roadshows, exhibitions, and Press conferences.
• Familiarization Trips: Activate traditional (broadcast and print), social and digital media programs according to annual plan, including managing invitations, escorting media groups, post-trip follow-ups and reporting.
• Press & PR Opportunities: Identify Press & PR opportunities, including story angles for client, and disseminate press stories.
• Reactive Press Office Work: See to ad-hoc press office duties, such as enquiries from media, and answering to media interviews.

2. Travel Trade Marketing

• Project Management: Manage travel trade partnerships, content collaboration and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to ensure ROI.
• Reports: Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key challenges.
• Database: Manage an efficient and well-organised database/CRM system.
• Distribution Network: Build the optimal network of key trade partners to distribute client’s product in Singapore.

Your Key Skills and Knowledge: 

• Diploma / Degree with at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in Public Relations and related field.
• Strong media relationship, solid experience with social media and traditional media.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, and effective consumer communication.
• Experience in media pitching.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Results driven with good interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
• Self-initiative, ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
• Advantageous for candidates with prior experience in Travel Industry related to public relations role.
• Highly motivated, eager and success driven team player with ability to interact with people at all levels and in a multi-cultural working environment.
• Independent and able to multi-task.
• Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organised individual.
• Adaptable to shape role and scope of work in response to needs and movements of fast-changing environment.
