We are actively seeking a Web API & Microservices Technical Development Manager with extensive experience and a solid skill set in Java, Spring Boot, Camel, JBoss, MQ, JMS, Rest API, Web services, and databases (Maria, Oracle DB, Unix, Linux). This pivotal role is designed for a hands-on technologist who thrives on exploring new architectures, frameworks, and programming languages.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years in a relevant field.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with ESB or SOA Architecture, service governance and design, Unix/Linux scripting, SpringBoot, Apache Camel, IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, WSDL, Spring Security, and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.).
- Database Knowledge: Experience with at least one of Oracle, MS SQL, Maria DB, or any NoSQL database.
- Operational Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service environment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead development teams, influence outcomes, and work with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Excellent articulation skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
Good to Have:
- Experience in the financial domain, particularly in credit origination or customer management.
- Over 15 years of experience in building scalable banking platforms.
- Formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent).
