AGAM is a Venture Capital Fund Manager (VCFM), regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Founded by experienced tech entrepreneurs, we focus on supporting businesses that use cutting edge technology to fundamentally change their industries.

In addition to its investment activity AGAM is also running a business accelerator program (Velocity) that is designed to help high quality entrepreneurs from disruptive product or service companies accelerate their business to achieve sales and scale regionally & internationally.

AGAM is looking for a Marketing Intern to join us as soon as possible. The Intern will be involved in supporting digital and traditional marketing efforts for investment and venture building activities across early stage technology companies. The intern will work on PR, social media and digital marketing campaigns, as well as assist in the execution of the strategic roll out in Singapore. The intern will also play an important role in the operational execution of our acceleration program that will start in September.
This position will report to the Corporate Development Manager at AGAM.
The specific responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Drive PR activities through the web and Social Media including the AGAM website and Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages
- Develop content and maintain the AGAM website, blog posts, newsletters & press release, Research, write, create and develop insightful, quality content for all marketing campaigns.
- Support the writing of articles on innovation
- Maintain social media accounts, connect and engage target audience on various social media platforms
- Research, identify & experiment with new and alternative social media strategies & tools
- Develop content related to all marketing activities including presentations to partners, companies and investors, events, and other marketing material
- Support the Manager in planning and executing the venture building programs
- Scheduling of mentors, investors, and interactions with government agencies, external partners.
- Based on interest, assist the Manager and Associates in:
- Preparing investor pitches
- Evaluating potential deals based on our mandate, market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials
Eligibility, desired skill set and personal traits:
Candidates should be 3rd/4th year university students
Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to design and maintain Websites and Social Media accounts.
Proficiency in graphics editing software such as Photoshop will be a plus.
Knowledge on the start-up ecosystem of Singapore
High energy level and creativity.
