Asics seeks a finance intern to join us in our Regional office based in Singapore. This finance professional will be exposed and gain experiences in various aspects of finance work, including accounting and internal audit.
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the role that Finance can play in a regional MNC setting, and be better prepared to work in the arena of accounting.
The scope of work includes :-
• Assist in documenting and improvement process for Group policies and procedures.
• Assist in review of user profiles and settings
• Verification of documents
• Handle general bookkeeping and accounting duties - eg expense reports.
• Data entry, data collection and validation for reports.
• Bank/Retail reconciliations.
• Various accounting administration and reporting duties- eg Filing / Document maintenance.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, e.g. Microsoft Excel and Word
o Ability to document processes using flowcharts and narratives Organized and responsible
o Strong with numbers and handling data
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
o Pleasant disposition and able to work in a team
o Proactive and willing to learn
