Job Description

Role purpose

• This is an internship position for undergraduates to provide assistance for Product support team.

• Interns will gain the opportunity to

  • Gain knowledge on health, safety and environment as well as compliancy for products
  • Develop interpersonal communication skills in a multinational and international working environment

Accountabilities

• Raw materials compliancy management

  • Accomplish Raw Material File (RMF) creation and data input for local manufacturing site
  • Coordinate supporting documents and data gathering with internal and external stake holders
  • Assist product support engineer to verify and confirm the RMF data

• Assist to conduct investigation and write technical response for claims:

  • Collect relevant information from different teams including Marketing/Sales, QC, and Production.
  • Consulting internally and externally with other Arkema research centers in France, Japan and US for technical support.

• Prepare statistics for the products, and records for the claims.

• Assist to issue other relevant files within the responsibility of Product Support team: Technical data sheet, etc.

Requirements

  • Undergraduates with a background (but not limited to) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymers, materials and/or related discipline
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new skills
  • Good time management
  • Ownership of tasks
  • Understanding when to ask for help and support
  • Work independently and/or as part of a team
