Job Description
What you will do:
- Sourcing and prequalification of potential suppliers
- Issuance of/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for projects and ad-hoc RFQ
- Liaise closely with the Project Team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that the quotations received are in line with technical/commercial specifications. Negotiate with suppliers for best price and lead-time
- Conduct Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) as final summary of negotiated rates and services.
- Presentation of proposed vendor to nomination committee stakeholders
- Assist in Purchase Requisition conversion to Purchase Order
- Daily and monthly up-keeping of standard purchasing reports
- Usage of Savings Declaration Tool to update savings negotiated by purchasing
- Draft MOM for Regional and internal meetings on ad-hoc basis
- Draft MOM for meetings with vendors/suppliers
- Assist in documentation filing, suggest improvement of process
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations
- Year of Study: Year 2-4
- Commit to a 5-6 months full-time internship
- Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment
