Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Intern Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to the development and optimization of our agent-based modeling platform. You'll gain hands-on experience with our tech stack, including but not limited to Trino, Hasura, DBT Cloud, Launch Darkly, and Google Cloud services. This role is ideal for a passionate individual eager to learn, innovate, and make a tangible impact within a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of our agent-based modeling platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to various phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and encourage best practices.
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
