Founded in Singapore in 2004, Akribis Systems is a motion control company that provides high precision direct drive motors. We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion.
We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design.
More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 44 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer.
Today, we have two production factories and numerous sales and support offices across the globe. At Akribis Systems, precision matters.
- To check and ensure the request receipt date (ETA AKB) and Promised Receipt Date fill.
- To work with vendor to provide and commit on actual delivery date and update Promised Receipt Date in the system. (Note: Invite supplier to meet and tell them our concern and the important of on time delivery with SQE so the performance of the supplier will be correctly evaluated.
- Follow up with supplier on the delivery only on Email communication (no Wechat, Whatsapp...), so we are able to track and follow up if one not around and able to help. In the event if urgent or person not around or on-site. WeChat or WhatsApp can be used but an email to follow.
- For Long Lead Time and Unique item, to check with vendor for best delivery date and arrange to bring in as early as possible. Stock for us or place blanket order to supplier. Work with engineering dept for standard part list.
- For local Fab supplier: To engage SQE for help to visit the supplier to check on the status of the item if the supplier is unable to commit.
- To expand our current Fab supplier base.
- For other local suppliers: Call to meet the sales representative to voice our concern of late delivery and how we can work better (Call in Engineering to help on the parts standardization)
- To work closely with China factory to keep stock of common motor parts of component for as their main manufacturing is motor production. They purchase in large qty with lower cost.
- All purchased price is confidential, when any person asked about purchase price or cost, please ask that person for the purpose of this information, and request for higher authority for approval.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or any other relevant course of study.
- Preferably with 1 year of working experience in machining shop and sheet metal fabrication is required for this position.
- Must able to interpret machining and sheet metal drawing
