Requirements
- Diploma or Degree with minimum 2-3 years’ of relevant working experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry a must. Candidates must be experienced in Freight
- A good team player, hardworking, flexible, independent & highly motivated person
- Good to have knowledges of Letter of Credit (LC) & BL
Responsibilities
- Well verse in Freight Market situation
- Good rapport with Shipping Lines
- Able to source for very competitive rates
- Ability to work with MS Office Suite and other applications customized for freight forwarding
- Coordinate with Customer Service & Sales department in providing excellence services that meet and exceed customer requirements & requests
- Communicate with customer, local & overseas suppliers, overseas offices & contractors to ensure all requirements (eg: Warehousing, Trucking, Carriers, etc) are met
- Handle Customer’s complaint and ensure recovery action is taken promptly and appropriately
- Schedules and assigns work among the team to meet Customer requirement & resolve any potential problems
- Able to prioritize and work independently with min supervision
- Assist manager in Freight procurement
