Job Description

Position
Operations and Admin intern
Start-date
January / Immediate
Duration
Minimum of 3 months, preference for 6 months
Working days
Mon to Fri 9 to 6pm daily
Reporting to
Secretary General

We give flexibility to accommodate personal schedules
Remuneration for the number of days work will be pro-rated accordingly in accordance to the candidate’s requests for time-off
Sample admin tasks
Marketing and Customer Relationship Management
- Manage, scan and file name cards
- Reorganise the contact and mailing list of ASEACC and related companies, around a marketing and CRM system
- Send out emails using MailChimp or any other mass marketing application
- Send out and write thank you notes
- Manage online digital assets of ASEACC such as Linkedin
- Upload news on ASEACC website
Calender
-Manage and schedule calendaring and schedule
Budgeting and Finance
-Invoicing
-Scanning of receipts
-Liaising with Finance
Event Planning
-Crafting of program schedule
-Liaising with agents to manage visits, speakers, transport, hotel, flights etc.
-Managing the budget of the event
-Designing of program booklet and lanyard
Exposure to business Networking & Seminars
- Attend networking conferences and seminars organised by ASEACC's partners such as Singapore business federation, and Enterprise Singapore
General background requirements
•Academic background: Events, marketing, operations, administration, business, finance, economics, law
•Strong command of English, good writing skills with good grades in English, attentive to details, meticulous to tasks and well-organised personality
Skills requirements
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and WordPress is a bonus
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel
