Adventus Singapore Pte Ltd – Cyber Security Intern

Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Help develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Contribute to incident response efforts by investigating security incidents, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise awareness of security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Stay current on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and trends through continuous learning and training opportunities.
Assist in other cyber security-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements
Pursuing or successfully completed a Cyber / Information Security Diploma from Ngee Ann Polytechnic or Singapore Polytechnic, or Cyber / Information Security Bachelor Degree from National University Singapore.
Able to commit for a 6-month duration, or longer.
Strong interest in Cyber Security, Computer Science and related fields.
