Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Marine Operations Assistant to support daily freight activities. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in the maritime industry and offers hands-on experience in marine logistics, documentation, and vessel coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Marine Logistics Team in the preparation and processing of shipping documents and manifest.

- Liaise with ship agents, and suppliers for vessel planning, scheduling, RFQ and quotations under supervision.

- Maintain accurate records of operations, documents, and stocklist on the tracking system.

- Perform daily basic operational duties, such as data entry, reply emails and pre-alert incoming ship spares for designated vessel.

Requirements:

- No prior experience required, on-the-job training will be provided.

- Willingness to learn, proactive, and able to follow detailed instructions carefully.

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Comfortable working flexible hours when vessels call.

- Able to coordinate with global partners across multiple time zones 

- Good teamwork and strong sense of responsibility.
