Job Summary:
As a member of our healthcare assistant team, you will provide a high standard of prenatal and postpartum care for new mummies as they transition into motherhood. Under the direction and supervision of our Nurse Leaders, you will engage in an exciting journey of guiding new mothers to care for their babies comfortably and keep their little ones safe and snug during their first month in our world! Join us as a Healthcare Assistant in uplifting new mothers and babies in the inspiring journey of parenthood.
Baby Care Duties Include:
- Cleaning, bathing and changing of diapers
- Feeding/Assist in feeding of babies
- Taking note of babies’ temperature, feeding pattern, mental/physical behaviour, and/or other necessary information
- Monitoring of babies’ growing progress
- Guide parents in infection control and baby safety measurements
- Ensure Baby Safety
- Umbilical Care
- Oral and Eye Care
- Assist in any other duties as required by the supervisor or manager
Mummy Care Duties Include:
- Monitoring of Mummies' recovery progress
- Guiding mummies in breastfeeding
- Guiding mummies in baby care techniques
- Assist mothers in understanding and coping with postnatal conditions
- Assist in any other duties as required by the supervisor or manager
Job Requirements:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and to continuously improve
- Able to work Independently and a team player
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
