The Junior Accountant is responsible of Account Payables, Month End and Year End Closing and participating with External Auditors. s/he will report directly to Senior Accountant. Moreover, s/he will also have many interactions with cross-functional team such as Sales, Project Manager, Operations team and etc.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure timely month-end closing for AP function.
- Review and approve Vendor creation in compliance with company policies.
- Maintaining Vendor master and Bank master.
- Liaise with suppliers for statement of accounts, perform the reconciliation with our record and respond to supplier queries.
- Review staff claims ensure comply of company policies and its coding to accounting system.
- Coordinate and timely respond to internal & external queries pertaining to AP matters.
- Reconcile Payment with Bank
- Liaising with Tech department for system issues.
- Involve in system implementation and automation pertaining to AP function.
- Undertake any other jobs and duties may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
Capabilities:
Qualifications include:
- Minimum N/O Levels/Diploma
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- Good Knowledge of finance, full sets of accounting
- A good team player who is pro-active, meticulous and able to work under tight schedules
- Highly Professional to work with other Functional and cross-functional Teams
- Proven integrity and maturity to accept added responsibilities
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
