We are a start-up company looking to set up a new and exciting F&B-related franchise in Singapore. Working closely with our Italian franchisor, we expect to grow quickly in the retail and corporate sectors to achieve market share.
We are looking for an intern with a strong accounting and financial background with some exposure in marketing communications. The intern must dedicate at least two full days of work per week, with the possibility of working remotely.
He/she will work closely with the company founder to forecast, plan and achieve financial milestones, and to put together marketing materials. In return, the intern will gain real-world work exposure and valuable insights from our experienced and established founder.
The ideal candidate should be:-
- A self-starter who can display initiation and deal effectively with an evolving business mode;
- An excellent communicator as there will be extensive interaction with the founder;
- Fully familiar with accounting and financial planning.
He/she is expected to:
- Independently handle accounting;
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis;
- Lead preparation of rolling monthly forecast, annual budget, and long range planning ; and
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.
