Digital Transformation Internship Programme

Reports to General Manager, Digital Transformation Department

Purpose of role

The intern would support the Digital Transformation Department in the daily production / maintenance of management dashboards (e.g. Trading & Risk dashboard, Credit dashboard) and contribute in continuous improvement efforts towards data visualization and process automation.

Responsibilities

1. Production-based (50%)

Daily production and maintenance of management dashboard and ensuring top data quality and process efficiency

2. Project-based (30%)

Enhancement of new functionalities / features in the management dashboard and process streamlining of daily production activities

3. Other (20%)

Research on new digital transformation technologies and functional initiatives

Knowledge and Experience

· Major in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science or Business Administration preferred

· Programming experience (e.g. Python, R, SQL)

· Data Visualization experience (e.g. Power BI, Tableu)

· Good excel skills (e.g. VBA, Pivot Tables)

· Basic understanding of database and big data technologies (e.g. Azure, Spark, Hadoop)

· Prior Internship experience with commodity trading houses
