ST Recruitment Centre – Technical Service Engineer (Product Application – Chemical)

Job Description

• Conduct electroplating and surface treatment experiments to demonstrate process capability to customers
• Operate and analyze data from laboratory equipment including SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS, XRF, Karl Fischer, and particle counters
• Provide on-site technical support for new chemical and equipment installations
• Investigate customer quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers
• Troubleshoot process parameters to optimize performance and reliability
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
• Support Account Managers with technical input for customer proposals and commercial discussions
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and technical activities
• Assist with commercial and customer support activities as required

Job Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. 
• 2-5 Years of experience in surface treatments for the Electronics or Semiconductor Industries
• Willing to travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia (1-2 times per month).
